Current status

MELTH Commerce is currently in controlled testing. Test environments do not accept real orders or move money. Production seller and checkout functions become available only after the relevant seller and payment-provider checks are complete.

1. Platform and seller roles

MELTH Commerce provides product discovery and technical checkout services for connected sellers. The product page and checkout identify the seller responsible for the offer, price, tax, delivery, conformity, returns and customer service. Unless MELTH is expressly identified as the seller, the sales contract is between the buyer and that seller.

2. AI assistants and product information

Compatible assistants may search products, compare disclosed information and prepare a quote or purchase proposal. An assistant cannot accept terms, place a binding order or pay on the buyer's behalf. The buyer reviews the seller, product, quantity, total price, currency, delivery and terms in the MELTH confirmation step.

3. Prices, currency and payment

Prices are shown in the stated currency, normally euros, and indicate whether taxes are included. Any delivery charge or additional fee is shown before confirmation. Payment is processed by the identified payment service provider. A payment authorisation is not final acceptance if the seller must still confirm availability; any reserved or collected amount is then handled according to the checkout notice and applicable law.

4. Order confirmation and delivery

After a valid order, the buyer receives confirmation with the seller's identity, product, price, payment status and available delivery information. The seller is responsible for fulfilment and accurate delivery estimates. Tracking is shown where supplied. Contact the seller or MELTH promptly if an order is late, damaged or incomplete.

5. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance purchases, subject to statutory exceptions such as personalised goods, sealed goods opened after delivery where health protection applies, or rapidly perishable goods. The seller provides the applicable return address and instructions. Refund timing and return costs are shown before purchase or in the seller policy. See Cancellations & refunds.

6. Seller obligations

  • Complete required identity, business and payment-provider onboarding.
  • Provide accurate product descriptions, prices, stock, delivery, returns and contact details.
  • Comply with product safety, consumer, tax, privacy and marketplace law.
  • Handle fulfilment, complaints, legal guarantees, cancellations and refunds.
  • Do not use buyer data outside the permitted order and legal purposes.

7. Platform fees and payment routing

Seller fees and any platform commission are stated in the seller agreement. Payment routing, settlement and refunds are available only after the payment provider has enabled the necessary capabilities. MELTH does not present a seller as verified or ready to receive funds until required checks are complete.

8. Complaints and disputes

Product and delivery complaints should first be sent to the identified seller. Buyers can also contact MELTH through the contact page for platform or payment-routing issues. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or access to a competent dispute body or court.
